Continue on to the award-winning Allpress Olive Grove for a guided olive oil tasting. Learn about how extra virgin olive oil is made and Waiheke’s unique growing conditions.

Then, enjoy a leisurely lunch at The Heke, a local favourite known for its fresh, seasonal menu and relaxed island atmosphere. A wide selection of dishes is available, along with optional tastings of local craft beer, gin, whisky, or non-alcoholic beverages (own expense).

Finally, head towards Onetangi, a 1.87-kilometre long, north-facing beach with beautiful old Pohutukawa trees on the foreshore. Take a stroll along the beach or purchase an ice cream or cold drink and take in the view.

This tour is ideal for travellers seeking a slower pace and a deeper connection with Waiheke’s landscape, locals, and creative culture. Choose to return to the ferry be dropped in Oneroa Village at the end of the day.
